EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR for Mental Health Center of East Central Kansas, a non-profit
community mental health center based in Emporia, Kansas. Our Center provides mental health care
to the residents of seven counties and manages an annual budget of $7.5 million and 200 employees.
Position is responsible for leading the Center by providing strategic leadership for the agency by working
with the Board and other management in establishing and accomplishing agency objectives and goals,
maintaining a financially-sound organization, allocating resources according to strategic priorities,
inaugurating programs, and evaluating and reporting results.
Candidates must hold either:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited school of social work, counseling, psychology, business administration,
or a related field as minimum required, or can instead hold a Master’s Degree from an accredited school and a
Doctorate Degree in clinical psychology, business, or related field to meet the education requirement.
Candidate must have licensure as a master level clinician with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of social work, counseling, psychology, business administration,
or a related field and hold certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
