CHILDREN'S CASE MANAGER position assisting clients in achieving individualized treatment, recovery, and personal growth goals through delivery of quality case management services. Duties include providing individual case management to youth, working as part of a treatment team, identifying appropriate community resources, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field. Travel is required.

Full-time position with expectation of 40 work hours per week on average.

    ADULT THERAPIST

    ADULT THERAPIST position providing family, individual, and group therapy. Duties include conducting clinical intake assessments at the time of clients' intake to department, designing and implementing a comprehensive plan of care for clients, collaborating with agency staff and community service providers to coordinate referrals and delivery of services, and completing discharge procedures for clients who have terminated treatment services.

    Our Center is based in Emporia, Kansas and travel to satellite offices in other counties may be required.


    Behavioral Health Therapist Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or closely related field.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
  • Candidates bilingual in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.

    SPANISH-ENGLISH INTERPRETERS

    SPANISH – ENGLISH INTERPRETERS . These positions are part-time and as-needed to interpret for Spanish-speaking clients. The successful candidates must have the ability to comprehend, speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Candidates must be reliable and have a high school degree or equivalent; college coursework is preferred. Persons with work or educational experience in counseling, psychology, or mental health care are encouraged to apply.

    Interpreter positions have flexible hours and the starting rate of pay is $16.00 per hour. No benefits apply for part-time positions.

    EMERGENCY SERVICES THERAPIST

    EMERGENCY SERVICES THERAPIST position providing direct emergency treatment services to clients experiencing a psychiatric crisis situation. Duties also include providing services related to court evaluations and testimony on behalf of clients, assisting clients to identify and secure community resources, and coordinating referrals and delivery of services among community agencies, hospitals, and within the organization to ensure the client is receiving necessary services. The position requires individual to frequently provide services to clients in the hospital emergency room.

    Travel will primarily be within Emporia, but occasional travel out of Lyon County is required. The hours of this position are on a rotating schedule with emergency services staff as the department is staffed by an on-call therapist 24 hours per day/7 days a week. Candidates must possess the ability to have flexibility in assigned work hours and the ability to work with persons with severe and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or substance abuse issues, especially those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Individuals must possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to react effectively in a variety of human service situations.

    The position is based in Emporia, Kansas.


    Behavioral Health Therapist Requirements:
